She is considered one of the foremost experts
worldwide in the field of contemporary prints and multiples,
specializing in the works of post-War artists. Sharon is the author
of
The Prints and Multiples of John Baldessari: A Catalogue Raisonne
1971-2007, published by Hudson Hills Press.
She is also the co-founder of a joint venture with
Robert Burke Associates,
which creates mass and luxury
products in collaboration
with well known artists. Prior to founding Coplan Hurowitz Art
Advisory, Sharon was for seven years a specialist in the Contemporary
Print Department at Sotheby’s and was an assistant vice president at
Christie’s. She has been involved as well in assembling several
important traveling museum exhibitions, including "Andy Warhol's Dream
America", and "Roy Lichtenstein Prints 1956-97". Sharon holds a BA in
art history, Magna Cun Laude, from Boston University and she currently
sits as a member of several museum boards and professional
associations.
