
Sharon Coplan Hurowitz is an independent curator and the founder of Coplan Hurowitz Art Advisory, which provides advice to foundations, corporations and individuals. A leading expert on postwar and contemporary prints and multiples, Sharon is the author of John Baldessari: A Catalogue Raissone of Prints and Multiples. Sharon has also published a number of special editions for non-profit institutions, including most recently a dress with Ellsworth Kelly and a print with Jasper Johns, both of which have been exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She has also organized a number of special exhibitions, including a retrospective of Kelly’s prints at the Los Angeles Museum of Art. Prior to starting her firm, Sharon was a specialist in contemporary prints at Sotheby’s and Christie's. Sharon sits on committees for several fine arts organizations and is a member of the board of trustees of the New Victory Theater. She received a BA, magna cum laude, in art history from Boston University and is a graduate of the Sotheby’s Institute.
